Will Writing in St Austell / East Cornwall with a listening ear and thoughtful guidance
Hi, I’m Meah Howlett, and I’m excited to begin my journey as a Partner with Simon Hall Will Writing Services. My background is varied, but at the heart of everything I have done, it has always been centred around people. Communication, clarity, and supporting others are values that guide my work every day.
I studied Journalism at Falmouth University in Cornwall, and since then have worked as a journalist within the region. This has taught me how to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and explain complicated information in a way that makes sense. All these skills have become invaluable as I help clients navigate some of life’s most important decisions.

Before this, I worked in various customer‑facing roles in hospitality and retail, which gave me a real appreciation for good and reliable service, as well as building a strong foundation of trust.
Alongside Journalism, I’ve also spent time as a Learning Support Assistant within an SEN provision, supporting young people with a wide range of needs. This role strengthened my patience, empathy, and adaptability. It also made me realise the importance of meeting people where they are, whether emotionally or practically, or simply helping them feel comfortable discussing a sensitive topic.
Community work has also played an important part in my career. I have taught radio and journalism skills to community radio volunteers, as well as providing digital skills training to people of all ages, helping them effectively and safely use new tools and technologies in their everyday life. These opportunities to work within my community, reinforced how rewarding it is to empower others with knowledge.
Now, I’m bringing all these experiences together in my Will Writing services in St Austell. At the centre of it all, I really enjoy helping people feel more confident and informed, especially with topics that can feel overwhelming or easy to put off. My aim is to make the process straightforward, supportive, and tailored to you.
One of the things that drew me to this team is how genuinely friendly and down‑to‑earth everyone is, and I’m proud to be a part of it. I’m looking forward to bringing that same personal touch to the clients I work with, growing in this role, and making a meaningful difference to the individuals and families I support, so they can feel confident about their future plans.
