Meet Simon Hall your friendly but professional Will Writer

Simon Hall started the company in 2019 and has been offering professional Estate Planning for the past five years.

Who would choose to be a Will Writer? That is question I asked myself several years ago.

It is fair to say, it was never a discussion point with my Careers Advisor at school. Neither was it ‘top of the list’ as I embarked on my working life. However, like most things in life, they don’t always turn out as you expect and like a lot of life experiences we are not always as prepared as we would like to think we are.

So, I may hear you say; ‘why Will Writing’? That is easy to answer, throughout my working career I have consistently worked in client facing roles. Some within a social environment, others dealing with both social and physical challenges and even in quite stressful situations. This has enabled me with the support of my team to provide a service that we are not only passionate about but pride ourselves in keeping to our core values of integrity, credibility, honesty and humility.

My beautiful wife, Linda and I met during Lockdown and got married in 2023. We are now co-directors in the business. We live on a farm and to us it’s Heaven. We are so grateful to live in such an idyllic place on the edge of Dartmoor. It’s so important to be happy within your self and I love to share that optimism with others. Like the book says, ‘Attitude is Everything’!

At Simon Hall Will Writing Services it is our job to ensure our clients have clarity. In complex family situations and we bring a clear understanding of the various options available so they can decide exactly what they need to do. We also work at the speed our clients require. This can be a matter of weeks however we have produced Wills in a day where the situation has demanded it. Often, we watch the worry drain from people’s shoulders…
